CONS

Barton Pressure Cooker
Buffalo QCP412 Pressure Cooker
Yes

• The safety feature makes it impossible to seal if you're trying to close it after it's warmed up. Only seals when it's cold. Since it only seals when it's cold, if you need to adjust anything inside after your water has started boiling, you have to let it cool all the way down before you can close it up again instead. • The weight doesn't get you past 12psi. The weight also needs tweaking if you need to use it for anything higher pressure. You have to add an extra 10 grams to it if you want to get up to 15psi. • Relatively miserable instruction brochure accompanies the unit. Does not explain well all parts of the mechanism and does not explain clearly the parts that it does describe. • Lack of product support. • Pressure cookers require periodic replacement of parts, such as the rubber gasket that seals the lid.

Yes

• It is not electric • Lacks a pressure gauge • It is not programmable.
