1. Reduce 25-50% overall cooking time: Previously, grilling chicken and pork chops with a gas oven requires a long heat-up time. With this air-fryer it just cooks immediately - 2 pork chops only require 18 minutes instead of the gas oven's additional 5 minutes to heat up to 350oF/177oC. 2. Large capacity, small footprint: While the capacity is already mentioned in the product's name. In a real cooking situation, you are able to fit 4 pork chops, or 4-5 chicken breasts without requiring stacking them on top of another. While that is usually great for a small family of 3's dinner (with portions mentioned above), if you are thinking of cooking for a family of 4 plus then you might want to grab the grill accessory Philips sells as well. 3. Intuitive controls, with great instruction and recipe book: Digital always offers better custom cooking capabilities than analog. The digital controls are very smooth, cooking presets are on point, and the included recipe book is very neatly designed with good-looking recipes. 4. Has a spot to store the cord. 5. The slide-out and lift basket from the bucket is very functional. You can just dump the contents out without having to worry about hot oil. 6. Everything is dishwasher safe, making clean-up a breeze. 7. Dial control makes changing settings easier. 8. No obnoxious beeping when done. It is actually very soft, even too soft.

1. Presets are for temp only, no time presets. When using presets, it only sets the temperature and you still have to set the time manually. 2. Loud fan. I wouldn't say it's louder than other brands but it makes a weird noise for a good half a minute or longer from time to time. Not sure if it is normal. 3. No auto-pause. When you pull out the basket, there is no auto-pause. You have to let it keep going or push in the dial button to manually pause and then manually resume after putting the basket back in. 4. 4Larger footprint than competitors of similar capacity. This takes up more counter space It is shorter though if that matters. 5. Buttons are physical, rather than digital. 6. Lots of pieces to wash. Bucket, basket, and bucket plate on the bottom. This basically takes up an entire rack in the dishwasher. 7. Expensive. This does cook food well but not any better than the Gourmia from Costco or the Ninja. 8. Small capacity. Most air fryers that say XL (let alone XXL) is around 8-10 qt, while this XXL is only 4 qt. 9. No other accessories included and they are super expensive.
